If the SiO2 content is low and there are many impurities, it will affect the heat resistance of the sand mold and seriously affect the quality of the produced fused zirconia corundum bricks. The specific gravity of water glass is 1.34g/cm3. It is mixed evenly with silica sand in a certain proportion in a mixer, and then equipped with a support box according to the model requirements to start making sand molds. Then, it is loaded onto a kiln truck and pushed into the drying kiln for drying.
In order to prevent the deformation of the sand mold plate caused by the deformation of the support plate, it is required that the sand mold has sufficient strength. Sticking sand to the mold can cause changes in the size of the sand mold, directly affecting the appearance and size of fused zirconia corundum brick products.
